On the RE-starting grid: ready, set, GO!
Two years after the last public edition of the Monza Grand Prix, this year the racetrack opens its doors again to the general public passionate about roaring engines with a capacity of 50% of the expected total; for the 99th year the city of Monza and its national racetrack will be pervaded by thousands of four-wheel enthusiasts for the traditional Italian Grand Prix.
Held in conjunction with the second weekend of September, it is a fixed appointment for lovers of the sector and for those who, perhaps, want to spend some pleasant hours of leisure immersed in the greenery of Brianza and the park of Monza.
This year, the race will be held on 12 September 2021. But the Grand Prix is not just a day: in addition to the "free practice" on Thursday and Friday, the "tests" on Saturday are organized events such as parties, conferences , meetings, gala dinners and excursions that color and flood the city of Monza and the whole Monzese's Brianza (and to a lesser extent those of Lecchese's Brianza) for the whole week before and after.
People of all ages, sexes and nations flock to the city of the Iron Crown coloring it with picturesque and friendly languages: the German language predominates, followed by the French, English, ..., even Greek is heard in the streets!

By train to the Grand Prix, from Milan to the Autodrome without changes:
Following the natural strong influx of people to the racetrack, which is essentially arriving by train, Trenord in agreement with the Lombardy region and with the Monza municipality organizes, for the single day of 12 September 2021, Special shuttle trains that they connect the Milan Porta Garibaldi station to Biassono-Lesmo-Parco station (and vice versa)*, on the Monza-Molteno-Lecco line and the station closest to the entrance to the racetrack, with several runs approximately every 60 minutes from 07.20 to 12.20 and runs approximately every 15/30 minutes in the opposite direction, from 16.40 to 19.30 in both directions the trains do not make the intermediate stop in Monza; to access this service it is necessary to have a special ticket "Al GP di Monza con Trenord" at a cost of 15.00 Euros or with any valid travel document (ticket or season ticket) for the Milan-Biassono connection and vice versa; the "Al GP di Monza con Trenord" pass can also be used in the previous days on ordinary trains to/from Biassono-Lesmo. On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, on the other hand, ordinary trains are used.

If, on the other hand, you will go on Thursday 09 September, Friday 10 September and/or Saturday 11 September for the "race tests", we invite you to use Suburban S7 trains Milano Porta Garibaldi-Molteno-Lecco (and vice versa), with an hourly frequency from 06 am at 08 pm, always up to the Biassono-Lesmo-Parco station located in the immediate vicinity of the "Curve di Lesmo".
We remind you that, on Thursday 09/09, Friday 10/09 and Saturday 11/09, the last train from Biassono to Monza/Milan Porta Garibaldi leaves at 20.09.
* Attention: we inform you that, on Sunday 12 September 2021, following the execution of the special trains, some train of the suburban service S7 Milano Porta Garibaldi-Molteno-Lecco (and vice versa) will be limited to the Besana-Lecco section.
At the racetrack between crowded and "boxed" trains: a solution to the problem
As for the various other events of various character, also for the Grand Prix a situation of great confusion and crowds arises during the days dedicated to it; enthusiasts who come and go to Milan fill the trains to from Biassono until seats are full; if the outward journey is more diluted, thanks to the "scattered" arrivals, the return generates a lot of confusion, as everyone wants to "go home": normally, this translates into long waits on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, of ordinary trains, in the Biassono station and, on the day of competition, of the special trains from Biassono and Monza full of people, ordinary trains useless for the same problem and cascading delays that last until the last hours of the day. For this reason, in addition to the "general health situation", we strongly recommend ALSO using the Arcore station, on the Milan-Lecco-Tirano and Milan-Carnate-Bergamo lines, to facilitate the flow of people; in Arcore you can find trains every 20 minutes to Monza and Milan, as well as trains to Lecco and Bergamo.
